The Love Hat Experiment started with a simple idea that grew into something bigger. Marie wore a hat that says LOVE and noticed how it changed the way she moved through the world, from her own mood and presence to the way people responded around her. Moments felt warmer, unexpected kindness showed up more often, and the pattern repeated enough that she and her partner, Tundra, embraced it as a core expression of what they want to put into the world.
That same spirit lives inside their brand, KHüN ROAD. Khün means human in Mongolian, and that meaning fits the mission: treat people like people, care for the planet, and build community through everyday actions instead of big speeches.
Tundra comes from Mongolia, where nomadic life and wide open wilderness shaped a deep respect for nature, animals, and family. Marie grew up as an Army brat and moved constantly before settling in Austin, Texas, where her chosen family and long-term friendships formed in a culture of laughter, honesty, and real connection.

This work comes from a friendship and a shared vision, and it exists to put something thoughtful into the world while supporting the way people grow and relate to each other.
